1. Introduction
1.1 Prime Dispute ensures all candidates and delegates are our number one priority and therefore we need to ensure we are open and transparent from the outset regarding admission to our training, development and events. The overall objective of this policy is to ensure that all individuals are considered equally for training, development and events and can access information, support and guidance as required.
1.2 The policy should be read in conjunction with other relevant Prime Dispute policies and our "Business Ethics and Conflict of Interest Policy" if you are already a member of Prime Dispute.
2. Responsibility
2.1 Prime Dispute shall deal with all enquirers in a clear and professional l manner and ensure it provides an admissions system which is free from discrimination ensuring equal opportunities for all individuals.
2.2 Prime Dispute believes everyone should have an opportunity to learn and therefore will as far as possible ensure it facilitates all candidates. If it is unable to facilitate an individual it shall inform the individual and provide an alternative option.
2.3 All individuals related to Training, Development or Events are accountable for ensuring that applicants are dealt with in accordance with the principles set out in the policy. Candidates also have a responsibility to respect the policy and adhere to it.
3. Entry Requirements & Support
3.1 Prime Dispute has produced an 'Admission Policy' that applies to all applications and delegates but is unable to provide individual advice.
3.2 Prime Dispute will support individuals in finding the relevant information which they require whilst remaining impartial and providing accurate information.
3.3 Prime Dispute will ensure our literature includes information relating to teaching and learning facilities including resources, entry criteria and course offering. Information relating to costs and membership designations will also be included.
3.4 A member of the Prime Dispute executive may contact the individual to clarify further information (or request professional references) and ensure that an applicant or delegate has the appropriate skills, experience or qualifications to undertake the training, development or event. The decision of Prime Dispute in these matters shall be final.
3.5 The executive at Prime Dispute shall ensure they keep the candidate or delegate up to date regarding the training, development or event. However, it is also the responsibility of the individual to ensure they contact Prime Dispute directly if they are unsure or need any clarification. This includes meeting any support needs, learning needs and employers objectives.
3.6 As Prime Dispute membership designations are linked to training, development and events the level of any programme will determine the entry requirements. Individuals shall be informed of any specific requirements from the outset. However, if any individual or organisation has any concerns they should contact the Prime Dispute executive to discuss.
3.7 When Prime Dispute offers a place on its training, development or events this is a conditional offer, based on:
(a) The individual meets the entry requirements (Prime Dispute may request evidence before on the day of the training, development or event);
(b) The individual having the funds to pay for the training, development or event; and
(c) The individual is available for the training, development or event day.
3.8 The offer of a place does not guarantee that the training, development or event will run. If any cancelations are made by Prime Dispute the individual will be offered an alternative, if appropriate and available, or a refund of any fees paid will be made if no alternatives are available.
3.9 If Prime Dispute offers a place on its training, development or events and subsequently discovers that the individual has provided false information, Prime Dispute can withdraw an offer or place whether or not the training, development or event has started.
3.10 Prime Dispute has the right to refuse an individual from any training, development or event. Any individual who is not accepted on Prime Dispute's training, development or events will be notified and may be given reasons. The decision of Prime Dispute shall be final.
4. Audits & Reviews
4.1 An audit may be undertaken to ensure that all applicants are treated in a fair and appropriate manner.
4.2 In order to ensure we remain open and transparent we may publish success and failure rates and satisfaction surveys on our training, development and events.
4.3 This policy will be reviewed when required and updated as necessary to ensure we remain on track with our vision and mission, regarding training, development and events.
5. Challenges and Conduct
5.1 Any challenges or non compliances to this policy will be investigated. If there are any instances of non compliance or breaches by Prime Dispute executives; Members, President; Vice President, Trustees, Consultants, Educators the appropriate action will be considered at the sole discretion of Prime Dispute.
