Mohammed is a partner for an alternative dispute resolution practice based in London and he is responsible for Claims and Dispute Resolution. Mohammed has previous experience in project contract packaging, tendering, contract negotiation, drafting, conclusion, administration, and project related legal and management service, in the field of construction, energy, property, commercial and corporate. Mohammed has experience of working on high value, multi party, large multinational projects. Mohammed has worked in a variety of sectors including multinational construction, power generation, oil and gas, mining, telecom for a variety of leading global organisations and governments. Mohammed is very experienced in project finance deals, negotiated major investment deals in infrastructural utility in the field of Energy, Mineral Resource, M&E contracts and projects, Telecom network building and many other technology model contracts. 

 As a multilingual professional, Mohammed has fluency apart from English in a few Asian Languages including Arabic. 

As well as being a successful Arbitrator, Mediator (both international and domestic), Mohammed has also negotiated, concluded, agreed, administered and settled various complex project contracts, and related disputes of varied nature and value.  Mohammed has extensive experience in International Arbitration as Party Representative, with consistent and considerable success around the world. This involves Investment Treaty Arbitration, Cross-border enforcement. The rules he has worked on are ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC,SIAC.

  • Barrister of the Inner Temple, with more than 20 years PQE, and total 19 years’ experience of project and legal work with special emphasis on construction project contracts, tendering and management, claim and settlement, alternative dispute resolution, settlement and negotiation in the field of property and construction, energy and mineral resources, commercial, family law administrative law, and corporate law;
  • Earned a reputation as trustworthy as a professional, hard working, creative and resourceful with a track record of performing at the national and global level with highest professional standards and commercial acumen;
  • Key strengths includes working as counsel /advisor in large infrastructural projects, being involved at every stage of major technology contracts such as FIDIC, NEC, ICE, PSC, EPC etc. of large multinational construction, mining, town development projects, and being advisor in direct foreign investment deals and played key role in effecting settlements and solutions in multi party international project management and disputes, with Unocal, Rolls Royce, Shell, Evonic, Clariant, Novartis, etc;
  • Leading professional and No.1 Advocate for Property and construction of Legal 500 series for five consecutive years;
  • During the last three years Mohammed has led/represented parties in Construction Adjudications and its enforcements or challenges in more than 100 cases. This has been achieved with near 100% success.
  • successfully represented the winning sole party in an Adjudication (with others),  in its enforcement at the High Court of Justice in the case of 'Rob Purton (t/a Richwood Interiors) Vs Kilker Projects Limited', the most widely discussed and appreciated case within the  industry.
  • Editor in chief for a Alternative Dispute Resolution Journal named "Thames Valley ADR”
  • Former Editor and contributor of Inter Law (an e journal) for energy and mineral resource;
  • Vice-Chairman of the Thames Valley Branch of CIArb.
