Prime Dispute - Response to the EU Referendum
The result of the EU Referendum of 23 June 2016 has now been announced and it is a vote to Leave the EU.
As a supporter of 33 industry sectors which engage people and businesses to avoid/resolve disputes our goals have not changed. It remains the mission of Prime Dispute, to increase the awareness of dispute avoidance/resolution mechanisms and ensure clients avoid the unnecessary costs of litigation worldwide.
Prime Dispute, Global Strategy and Corporate Services Director, Yvonne Hanly said :
"Brexit will result in a number of changes for UK industry in areas such as trade, regulation, Government policy and conflict avoidance/resolution. Some of these changes will be positive, yet few are likely to happen overnight. As a result, businesses now have a prime opportunity to take proactive steps to prepare for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead with the support of our members".
Prime Dispute, Operations & Global Dispute Resolution Services, Director - Waj Khan said:
"British businesses must continue to be proactive in driving growth. The UK remains a world leader in conflict avoidance/resolution and a hub for providing solutions for disputes. All industry sectors and our global members must play an active role in setting a vision for a new, post-EU environment which is open, pro-growth and delivers a positive outlook for a united world"
