Adrian Kearney is a Chartered Arbitrator, Expert Witness, Mediator and Registered Adjudicator since 1994 onwards, in both domestic disputes (UK and Ireland) and International disputes. He has received Appointments as Arbitrator and Adjudicator in many Disputes of various levels in construction and civil engineering. This also included panel membership of the ABTA Scheme. Many cases lead to published awards, and appointments are both private, commercial and panel, under JCT, ICE and International Forms within the Commonwealth Jurisdiction. His experience covers all types of civil engineering and construction works, including medium to large building works, roads, airfield, power generation plants, buildings, minor works etc. In respect of his professional training he is a Chartered Arbitrator, Adjudicator, Chartered and Civil Engineering Surveyor both in quantity surveying and construction surveying. He has been involved in and has represented clients in Court hearings as Expert. This relates to Final Accounts, claims for loss and expense, prolongation, delay and disruption, extension of time, defects, dilapidation and construction defect etc. He was involved in setting up the training of Adjudications throughout Great Britain for panel selection. He works as a tutor and lecturer on Construction Law, and also has had an international role in the Caribbean Jurisdiction and South Africa.
