Trainee Membership / Free to Join
Trainee membership is ideal for individuals who have an interest in law, conflict/dispute avoidance, resolution and management. Membership allows access to appropriate benefits to support the future growth and development of all trainees. Prime Dispute will support trainee members in working towards gaining; knowledge, skills and qualifications within our profession. |
Advocate / (APD)
APD Requirements APD membership is available for individuals who fulfil all of the following : Membership is available for professionals who can demonstrate basic; experience, knowledge, skills and/or qualifications within conflict/dispute avoidance, resolution and/or management; Less than 5 years; experience, knowledge or skills within conflict/dispute avoidance, resolution and/or management; Successful pass of; Module 1/optional modules or an acceptable pass of an equivalent accredited course/development module** on a subject relating to arbitration, adjudication, mediation, etc. |
Member / (MPD)
MPD Requirements MPD membership is available for individuals who fulfil all of the following : Membership is available for professionals who can demonstrate appropriate; experience, knowledge, skills and/or qualifications within conflict/dispute avoidance, resolution and/or management; Minimum of 5+ years; experience, knowledge or skills within conflict/dispute avoidance, resolution and/or management; Successful pass of Module 1 & 2 or an acceptable pass of an equivalent accredited course/development module** on a subject relating to arbitration, adjudication, mediation, etc. |
Fellow / (FPD)
FPD Requirements FPD membership is available for individuals who fulfil all of the following: Fellowship is available for professionals who can demonstrate significant senior experience*, knowledge, skills and/or qualifications within conflict/dispute avoidance, resolution and/or management; Minimum of 5+ years senior; experience, knowledge or skills within conflict/dispute avoidance, resolution and/or management; Successful pass of both Modules 2 & 3 or an acceptable pass of an equivalent accredited course/development** module on a subject relating arbitration, adjudication, mediation, etc. *Please note: Senior experience includes; advised, represented and/or acted as a conflict/dispute resolver (arbitrator, adjudicator, mediator, etc). Fellowship is also open to senior academics/professors. After gaining Fellowship/ What are the next steps? (A priority pass to join our 'Panels' & gain certification as an 'Educator' can be requested if you are accepted as an FPD member). Panels / A priority pass to join our 'Panels' will be provided; if you 'Act' as a practitioner (Arbitrator, Adjudicator, Mediator, etc) and meet all the requirements on our; 'Criteria for inclusion on Panels' (Joining the Panel is by invitation only). Certified Educators / FPD members' can request to gain certification as an Educator and will need to meet all the terms to become a 'Certified Educator'. Exemptions are offered in Construction Adjudication, Dispute Boards, Domestic Arbitration, Expert Witness, Early Neutral Evaluation, International Arbitration, Independent Expert, Mediation, Conflict Avoidance/Resolution and Dispute Avoidance/Resolution.
