​Background information: 
Presently Ajit Kumar Mishra, is posted as Head of Contract Management Division (General Manager) in a World Bank / JICA funded infrastructure project which is being executed on Design Build Model based on FIDIC Yellow Book form of contract.

In the course of execution of construction and consultancy contracts, Ajit Kumar Mishra represent Employer (DFCCIL) in various disputes/claims of the contractors in Dispute Adjudication Board, Arbitral Tribunal and also in Court of Law. Ajit also deals with working of Dispute Boards as per provisions of FIDIC. ​

Ajit Kumar Mishra has represented and defended the Employer (DFCCIL and Ministry of Railways) in adjudication of 07 disputes through Dispute Adjudication Board, 06 though International Arbitration and 04 disputes before Court of Law.

Ajit Kumar Mishra has achieved the following: 
  • attained ‘Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration’ conducted by CIARB London in March 2022. 
  • Attended certificate course on ‘International Law in Action: the Arbitration of International Disputes’ organised by Leiden University in October 21.
  • Undergone 40 Hours Training for Mediators conducted by International Center for Alternate Dispute Resolution (ICADR).
  • Attended 3 Days Workshop on 'Domestic & International Arbitration' conducted by Indian Council of Arbitration (ICA).
