Associate membership enables you to strengthen your professional credentials using the 'APD' designation while continuing to hone your expertise using up to date and trusted resources.

What qualifications/experience are needed ?

APD Requirements 
To qualify to become an APD member you will need to fulfil either route 1 or 2:

Route 1: Experience 
  • Nine months experience in dispute avoidance, management or resolution;​
  • A reference letter will be required from any professional, preferably a Prime Dispute member at any grade, who can provide first-hand experience of your involvement in conflict/dispute avoidance, management or resolution. 

Route 2: Qualifications 
  • ​No experience required only a successful pass of; Module 1/ optional modules or an acceptable pass of an equivalent accredited course/development module** on a subject relating to arbitration, adjudication, mediation, etc. ​

How much does it cost ?

​No admission fee is required and Prime Dispute does not charge a membership fee for this membership designation either.
