Background information: Mr Kumar has over 12 years of experience in ADR & Arbitration. He has a keen interest in 'Alternate Dispute Resolution' and believe that ADR is the future of dispute resolution. Experienced in International Commercial Arbitration, Insolvency laws, Real Estate, White Collar Crime, Mr Kumar has appeared for both Government and Private Entities. He is currently empanelled as an Arbitrator with Maldives International Arbitration Centre. Mr Kumar is particularly experienced in conducting litigations under Commercial Disputes, Mediation & Arbitration, Maritime Laws, White CollarCrime, Insolvency laws, Real Estate, Banking & Finance, Sports laws, Power Sector. Additionally, he has drafted Parallel License Applications, Distribution Franchise Agreement and PPA's under the Electricity Act, 2003. Mr Kumar has advised Startups and legal issues pertaining to it. He has appeared in relation to various matters for Public Sector undertakings before the Bombay High Court, Supreme Court of India and Arbitral Tribunals involving foreign party in India. Mr Kumar recently spoke at the Thoughts for Leadership 4 Conference in London on 'Growth of Commercial Disputes in India' focusing on International Arbitration. He featured as Distinguished Legal Minds of India in the Coffee Book published by Legal Era for the year 2019-2020. He was invited as Guest Speaker to the legal conclave 'Make in India' held on December 1, 2016 in London, where he held forth on “Are arbitrations ethical or just a private unethical fight?”.
