1) What is Prime Dispute's Conflict Avoidance and Resolution (CAR) Training?
Conflict is a serious disagreement or argument, often one that is long-drawn out and has issues that run so deep that they can appear to be non-negotiable. The possibility of resolving such issues can seem to be remote as a result of the apparent clash between the parties’ interests, ideas, principles, visions or values that can raise issues relating to security, authority, power, democracy and more. This course focuses on the behaviours that can lead to conflicts and the skills that 'CAR' specialist members have to advise industry sectors on how to avoid and resolve conflicts from a strategic viewpoint. Why are we focusing on 'conflict'? The key to identifying the difference between conflict and dispute is to think of conflict as representing a broad, wide circle of issues within which a number of disputes may arise. Conflicts, unlike disputes, cannot be easily resolved and the possibility of resolving them can seem very remote without a clear strategy. In contrast, a dispute can be resolved through judicial or dispute resolution mechanisms 2) Why choose Prime Dispute's Conflict Avoidance and Resolution (CAR) Training? Prime Dispute CAR programmes understand the benefits of conflict avoidance and resolution and the strategies that are needed when litigation or dispute resolution mechanisms are not able to deal with the issues or manage the conflict. Prime Dispute provides a CAR programmes that delivers on the core values required by candidates who need an understanding of strategic thinking and an understanding of conflicts. They provide the skills required to think carefully and concisely to properly plan the strategy that will support the industry/parties in avoiding, resolving and moving forward.
